Ruths Blanket

well i finished ruths blanket hopefully she likes it, i had some problems with this blanket and had to cut away quite a bit of material cause the 2 panels didnt match up like usual. Usually joanns is better at cutting but i guess they are even entitled to their slow/bad days but anyways here is what it looks like :)

Mums Popcorn Hat

Another Xmas Gift finished i was able to get my mums popcorn hat done in a matter of 1 day i would have had it done alot sooner had i didn't have to start over a couple times and didnt put it down here and there to sleep or whatever :) Needless to say i think it came out just as good as the hat i did for myself if not better.

This hat is done with Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick yarn (which i think is just perfect for this particular hat). It comes out the perfect thickness for my tastes.

Anyways here is the picture of the finished project:

Elliots Xmas Scarf

So I have accomplished elliots scarf for xmas... i was pleasantly surprised how well it came out as this is the first time i have worked with lion brand homespun yarn but i loved the look of it and it just seemed to be the right colors i was looking for him.

I have never really done fringe on a scarf before without help from my family who are avid knitters as well but none the less if you don't try then i guess you will never find out how bad you failed or succeeded but alas i believe i have done well and i was very pleased.

So here you have the picture:

One of the best things about this scarf is it's fully machine washable and dryable so it's very easy to manage. anyways its perfect for those cold winter days and is extremely thick. Anyways hope he likes it, i am sure it will come to good use!
It's on its way soon darlin xoxoxo

Too Poor to Afford Xmas

so this year i am far to poor to afford xmas and the presents that come with xmas and the whole shopping thing has really never been my thang. Having crowd anxiety sucks sometimes cause you never know what time is the "good" time to go shopping wish there were more stores that were 24 hours than i could go when no one was ever around ha ha Needless to say this year i am making all my gifts and yes that too cost money but in the long run when it comes to it i am relatively "saving money" in the end.

So among the list of items i am making for presents this year are scarves, beanies and blankets!
My latest attempt that i have just finished is my "Popcorn Bubble Beanie", surprisingly this beanie was very easy to do despite when i first read the pattern.  I believe my initial reaction to the "Easy" skill level was something like "How can this be easy?" but it was! I love projects like this Easy, Fast, and Fun! Definitely great to do while watching my movies so i don't feel i am wasting time not accomplishing anything!

Here is a pic of the finishing product! I love it so much I made this one MINE. lol Its really Charcoal but in the pic it looks lighter in color.
